Tyre Size for Heritage 560 Single Axle

Tyres are currently GT Maxmiler 175R14C. I assume the profile is 80%. These tyres are the exact same as fitted from new.
The load index is 99 which doesn't leave much margin for safety - total 1550 kg load limit on a 1500kg van.
I would like to fit 185/75 R14 tyres which have a load index of 102 which gives a load limit of 1700kg.
Anyone done this ?
My concern is the extra 10mm width of the tyre and whether this will rub inside the wheel arch - the rolling diameter is the same.
