New to us Caravan

Hi all,
We are new caravaneers and new to the Fleetwood Owners Club. We have just got a 2000 Fleetwood Countryside 450-EK and going over it to understand how it all works.
Overall it is in very good condition, just a couple of little DIY jobs for me to do, like front/bottom curtain track need re-fixing. A new carpet would be a must as well, don't like the current one (not original) and is worn by door.
Awning to be purchased at sometime.
Any recommendations for items needed or modifications/things to do to it would be most welcome.
