You will notice a big difference to our web site, we are updating to the latest software version, what excitement! New look, better capabilities, more user friendly, greater storage capability for our galleries eventually.

Of course, this will not ALL happen overnight, so members please be patient with us over the transition, which may take some time.

The forums are the first to see these changes. Please give us your constructive feedback, which will be most welcome.

looks impresive so far, like everyone else you get used to pressing the same buttons regularly but I am sure members will soon get used to the new layout. Tim

After just posting I got the message that the post had first to be checked by a moderator before being published and then I would be notified -- is this not creating an uneccesary monster or creating extra workload for someone? Also how long does it take then for a post to be listed? Tim

I was initially so excited, but as I started to navigate around I found it will take a little getting used to, and the euphoria wore off.

I see there are things not working as designed yet, and I'm aware changes of this magnitude cannot be made overnight, but the new software hold so much promise for the future. It will be brilliant when finished!

Would you like a bug list? I'm sure Mark is aware of them already though.

I miss the statistics section of the old site by the way.

Its been a bit of work sorting every thing out... I hope you all appreciate the efforts.

If you notice any bugs please post in this thread so that I can take a look.

Please bare with us on some of the features, as we are still on a temporary domain. Once its all transfered over we will be able to avtivate and tweek the other settings

The time shown is in the future. Is that something we need to set on our own computers or is it something global?

i'm just sorting ou the forums atm... trying to get a bug report forum and to do list...

got a few issues with categories and forum layout atm, for some reason all your forums are sub forums of other forums, trying to create a correct category structure for yuou but its playing up

Do you intend to implement needing to be a member to see past the first post?
Everything can be seen except Tecnical forum.

I had actually implemented that on the other forums I originally setup...

But I had to start a fresh setting this one up because we had to import all the posts.

Its a rather complicated process with lots of core file edits. I'm currently trying to find an easy way of doing it that will not effect us doing updates. i.e. the security updates will end up replacing the code changes
