Looking through the Gallery album belonging to 'nradtke', I see some absolutely stunning photos. Who is the said person though?
I also love tenaki's factory photos. What nostalgia!

On the subject of gallery photos, HELP!

Someone called Roy put our van up for sale on Ebay yesterday!

He's obviously got one very similar, but I don't think so because the interior shot is from a 2009 640EB, and the shower cubicle has blue LED's like ours. Somehow he managed to park it temporarily on my dad's back garden for the photo shoot and we never found out!

I sent him a mail to say I hoped the sale goes well and I'm sure he will miss the old girl.

This is a fairly common occurance across the internet especially when you are operating on software as old as ours with the resultant security not up to current day standards.

We are able to lock down to avoid spammers entering the gallery to place items on it but cannot stop anyone who has the knowledge to take items off it.

Just a point, I take it that you have checked that your caravan is where you left it??

Came across some interesting info.

These wheels locks are in fact very easy to get off with the right equipment. The thief just uses a portable oxy/acet cutter through the wheel spoke adjacent to the lock and cuts through the rear of the receiver in seconds.

Thinking about how to overcome the design flaw, it occurred to me that the receiver would be better made out of 316 Stainless Steel, but then I thought it might still be subject to angle grinder attack (I haven't had a close look to see how feasable this would be though).

A great idea would be to have a thick wall sleeve of the same burn resistant 316 stainless which would rotate when being ground, and would have sufficient thermal mass to avoid melting (cutting being impossible) when subject to oxy/acet attack. The sleeve would be the first thing on before fitting the lock.

btw - please don't think I'm exaggerating the threat as I came across a post on the Internet where the owner by chance noticed his van had been 'prepared' and was ready to steal. Apparently the fitter who replaced the receivers said he did so all the time!
